Community Unity Festival 2024

Community Unity Festival (CUF) is an annual not-for-profit community driven event held every July at Midian Festivals and Events in Springville, IN.

Our goal is to provide a fun and safe festival environment to welcome people from all walks of life to express themselves freely and share their interests, talents, and passions with a community of like-minded individuals.

CUF was founded in 2021 by festival staff who wanted to bring together people from various themed events held across the country to a single event where they could all bring their own unique perspectives to create a shared space of unity and acceptance.

Many of us at CUF come from various communities that have very few opportunities to express ourselves openly in everyday life. This event aims to provide a place where everyone can come relax, let their hair down, and "take off the mask" of mundane life.

Every year we open our schedule up to anyone with a drive and passion to share their skills and/or knowledge with the community so you never know what you'll see! Workshops cover a wide range of topics including herbalism, meditation, drumming, incense blending, and many many more unique and engaging experiences.

Our first and foremost goal is affordability and accessibility so we strive to keep admission as reasonable as possible. Where many events quickly become inaccessible due to increasing ticket costs we are dedicated to making sure our event is open to as many people as possible.

Our entire event is volunteer driven. From event staff to presenters, everyone involved in making these events happen does so as a labor of love. Volunteering is also a great way to get in to the festival for free! It doesn't take much, and many hands make light work, so there is something for everyone who is willing to help out and save on the cost of admission.
